I have slowly been creating a small International army of artists, filmmakers, and musicians for a project currently named Indoctrination. I have been working for about 2 years with Cockroaches on the project. He is from Berlin, Germany and uses the program Reason to make his contributions which are many.

In the mix I have added some songs contributed by Alex Conrado in Madrid, Spain

He is a filmmaker as well and I hope he will contribute images from Spain but he is currently busy on his new film.
Jerry Tremaine, a musician/ photographer in London, England has agreed to supply some of his excellent photographs. He has been traveling all over the world and has many photos I must make a decision on.

Yesterday, a friend of mine living in Australia agreed to provide some Indigenous audio elements.... dream time stories and perhaps some images.
Also.... yesterday.... erdem erdemir ( from Istanbul, Turkey ) said he would go to the streets there collecting images and audio for the project. (-:

Today 2 animators also confirmed involvement. An exceptional animator from Croatia said he has started work but is also finishing some of his own films.

Also an animator from Ireland that appears to be popular on You Tube, has agreed to provide some material.

The Indoctrination film will be a more abstracted exploration of some of the themes touched on in the movie which was funded as an experimental documentary.

It was nominated best Canadian feature at Hot Docs 2007 and was also accepted in 2007 for the official program of 50th edition of the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film. While I was there I shot many of the images I will be using in the film. I plan to make a trip to Berlin as well to see Cockroaches in person and shoot some more footage. I have recently added Chris Gavin, a Canadian bassist to the mix.
There is also a musician in Norway ( taking his Masters course ) will possibly add some music or play with the music we have done so far.... if time allows.
He is a refill designer for Reason and uses Cubase. I have been mixing with Protools LE. The project will take at least a year to complete.... or perhaps longer. Lots of things to distract me of late. There has been no funding and I am quite strapped for money. On two separate occasions a Saskatchewan Arts Board jury has recommended the project for funding but it was not, due to recent Government cuts to the arts in my country Canada. I am waiting to hear again on my 3rd attempt at getting funding. We currently file share through Rapid Share but due to the economic situation have been using Rapid and other sites in free mode... which I am funding is slowing things down a bit , since if the server is busy with paying customers .... you have to wait If funding goes through I will be creating a server site of some sort for the sharing of files. That being said, at the present, I can offer only appropriate credits to those contributing to the project. If the end result actually makes money, it will be split fairly on a percentage of work each artist has contributed to the final product. As you are aware... abstract art rarely makes money.... but I plan to sell the CDs and songs on a number of sites. One site I am considering is Soundclick. I submitted a very rough mix of one of the songs there because the site told me I was going to be kicked out due to lack of activity ( a year ).... understandable (-:
I uploaded the rough mix and it took off in the charts .... so I did a better mix which has also remained in the top 10 for and the top 20 for a number of weeks. It stayed at #8 for a few days and has been jumping around but is doing well and we have been receiving great reviews so far on forums and on soundclick. An unexpected surprise since I do not concider to be one the better songs. It was just closer to completion.
