Tap function in Reason 3??

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me if there is a tap function (or anything like it) to use in live situations for Reason 3.0? I've looked through the past topics and have not found an answer...

There is not.

However if you use Rewire, then Reason will sync to whatever tempo the DAW is playing. So if you have a tap function in your DAW then Reason will follow.

Do you know off hand if it would work with Cubase LE or Audacity? I haven't used these yet, but have access to them...

If Cubase LE has a tap function, yes, it definitely can control Reason via Rewire in any case, Audacity no.

It appears that it depends on your setup, whether or not Cubase can receive tempo tapping:
