Push space bar once to play, again to stop,
and push down for slightly longer to go back to the left marker.

If you tap the spacebar twice when stopping playback, it will snap back to the left marker automatically.

it only works using enter for me. The spacebar works as play and pause.
tap 3 times on enter to go all the way back when playing.
ctrl+enter= record
you can also use numpad 0 instead of space and numpad * instead of ctrl+enter. Very handy when recording.
