Probably not possible with a sample but do u think eventually there will be a drum machine that is synthetic and you can change the attack/decay of say a kick drum.... would be very nice to do on the fly without loading different wav files.

Actually, I remeber doing this with the drum machines in ReBirth... anyway to do it in Reason?

lol edit 2: I think ReBirth maybe used multiple wavs for each sound so when you moved the knob it just switched to the next sample?

that's the best way. Make some samples and shape them in a wave-editor.

If you have really really want to do it in reason you could automate the level-knob and copy/paste the att+dec.envelope (that you draw) to each note. :|

why not just use the sample in a nn19, route the gate in to the gate out of the redrum, and use the attack/decay features on the nn19...?
