Yes mate its quite easy and there are a few ways to do it....
Try this way......
Open cubase first then reason this will set cubase to your master and reason as your slave..
You could have a mixer in reason but for this tutorial ignore it and firstly open up 1 redrum or any other sampler in reason...
Flip the rack around in reason and route your left and right steroe out channels in the audio in at the top of reason to channels 3/4 ignore 1/2 for the time being..
Next go to cubase go to DEVICES at the top go to REASON and click the channels 3/4 that are displayed in there all those channels represent reasons audio in so what ever you use in reason remember to light up in cubase.
Next right click on the project area of cubase and add a midi track.
Then go to the left hand side of cubase and where it says `out`` route that to your redrum or sampler in reason.
Now that it is selected you can play your sample with your keyboard.
Press either record in the transport bar in cubase or the ````*`````symbol to record and away you go
