What if I bought the wrong speakers??

Postby three2do1 » Wed Feb 25, 2004 2:09 am

I just recently bought a couple of Tannoy Reveal X monitors. They are very loud, but due to lack of space I haven't linked them up to my computer setup yet. I'm using them on a CD player at my madre's at the moment, and I'm just worried that being mid range I won't get the clarity needed to mix tracks accurately without going out and forking out even more cash for Subs and Tweeters. What are your thoughts?

Hey man the Tannoy reveals are pretty awesome. We mixed two albums on the ones we have at the other studio. But really, speakers are only as good as your ability to know how they respond to certain frequencies. Get them in your setup and do some experiments.

P.S. these are not for the home stereo. Look after them
