Look at all the specs, it's not that different from Sonar, Cubase, etc.
Maybe a little bit more userfriendly, maybe.
The main difference to Sonar and Cubase seems to be the pattern based sequencers.
What's this with software, something new comes along, and everyone gets excited. No tool in the world is gonna make the best tunes for you.
I have a wrench at home, but I have no idea how to fix a car, buying a better (or different) wrench won't change this.

Let's not forget a lot of great bands only used drums, bass, guitar, vocals (!!!), and sometimes a bit more. They couldn't load a new sampleset into their guitar, or autotune the vocal to dead.
Or have a look at early techno/acid (late 80's detroit/chicago): 1 drumcomp, 3 synths max.
Waiting for the next big thing is just a waste of time
Let's look at it in a few months, when the first users have tried it and after the first updates (patches)...
