plug-ins etc......

Postby kano66 » Sat Aug 18, 2007 7:34 am

Been on Reason now for two months.... already, my determination for her has left me with some good tracks.....

I was introduced to CUEBASE as everyone said this was the natural progression from REASON. Wow...!!

So to my knowledge REASON is good for sequencing laying out a track etc, and CUEBASE is good for all the mastering.... Cuebase looks teck as fuc*.. But I can't wait to get into it....

My mate showed me about bringing in audio from REASON and creating group tracks etc....

I asked him how you go about getting a simple drum loop going and he said that it comes with no soundbank.... cool...

Can cuebase take reason sounds, or where is the best place to get some basic plug-ins etc...???
Also, any good tutorial sites...?

You don't need to use the reason sounds in cubase, as you can use all of reason as a plug-in. Search ReWire for more info. That's the way to go if you want to use the synths from Reason.

This page has some good basic vst-effect plug-ins:

btw, You could probably get a more detailed answer in a cubase forum.

If using Rewire, you could for example program your drums in Reason, using the Redrum.
