Monitoring the signal in Emulator X

Postby gongchime » Tue Mar 07, 2006 8:06 am

I don't see the word "In" anywhere in Cubasis. ??? Cubasis has a column going down the left side after the name "Arrange-Untitled 1" after that it says solo which is not selected. Then in white letters it says "Part Info" and I've got Track 1 selected.

Below that it says Start. End and Output which is currently labeled Emulator X(V1). Below that it says in White "Channel" which is on 1. Prg and Bank are Off.

Patchname is unselected and Volume, Transp, Veloc and Pan are either off or zero.

Below that is the word "edit" in a little box. When I clicked there it took me to a new Emulator X screen with no patches loaded. So I loaded them up. Now, when I run my mouse along the miniature keyboard onscreen I see signals in the Main Mix meters as well ;) which weren't showing up in the other window.

I think I'm closer now but still no Cigar. I don't know if I should see a signal in the DSP Patch mixer or in the Cubasis Midi Track Mixer ??? but there's nothing coming in either one currently. >:(
