I don't know about you guys, but I've got a few dozen MP3 files of songs I've downloaded off this forum over time. A problem I've run into, though, is that I'll listen to an awesome track by someone here in the Promotions section that I've had saved for a while and wonder to myself just who the heck wrote it. That's why I'm offering this suggestion:

Start naming your MP3 and .rps files with your artist name on it. Do it like this:

artist name - track title.mp3

It's important that people know who they're listening to.

Oh yeah, and make use of the ID3 tags. That's important too.

Do you have WinAmp? (it's a freeware mp3-player) I think it's called "view file info" in that program. There's many other programs that allow you to edit the tags. Just google it.

Anyways, some host sites mess up the filename and id-tags. For instance: Dance-Industries renames the filename to track12345.mp3
