Here's mine...

http://home.ripway.com/2004-11/206050/C ... Groove.zip

I used the Peff MPC Groove Refill...

http://www.peff.com/reason/download/rps ... 20MIDI.zip

To get the 50% swing user groove in there too... (I like that, it hooks up beats nice...)

I'd say that this refill is one of the best bits of technical work for Reason because it lets you get the quantisation of the MPC series sequencers into Reason... It wins the argument when people say "Yeah, Reason's good, but nothing can beat the MPC groove for beats..."

Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

Woah, dude... Just checked yours out... That's a pretty cool set-up for the multi-band compressor at the top end...

I never do that sort of stuff in Reason, just over in T-Racks!

It's just my default rack. I try not to start with the same device every time (after I do my drums, that is), so I don't have any synths or samplers in to begin with.

Well, what I do usually after finishing a track is bypass all the vocoder EQs, tape distortion, and compressors at the top and then make sure nothing is clipping. Then, I'll turn everything back on, and then set the mids and highs to off so that only the lows are playing and adjust the compression if needed. I do the same for the mids and highs, fiddle with the tape distortion if needed, and maximize the volume on the final mixer.

After that? Ex-por-ta-tion, baby! :D

I `ll tell you what it just goes to show how far behind the production cababilities of you guys. I am...............I think its a bit embarrasing at times reading you posts and thinking,`` they know what they are talking about and I know not``.................All this reducing eq`s and lowing bass ect is going to take alot of hard work and practice and I will not be able pick it up over night ,but me thinks it going to be a while yet before I get to grips of things..

It was some time ago, from some guy from err.. the OTHER site ;)

That analyzer-shizzle is really useful when eqing the whole mix.

I often use a vocoder as freq-analyser too. I know that some people say you better don't use it because then you're looking to produce in stead of listening, but I think it's realy handy.

Yeah, that's a useful little set-up D... I think it's a bonus if you can see as well as hear stuff...!

Shame that set-up kanes 4 bars of my CPU meter just running a drum pattern through it... DOH!
